The City of Gaspé wishes to alienate certain land belonging to it for residential construction purposes (single-family house, semi-detached single-family house, isolated two-family or isolated three-family).
In order to know the regulations applicable to residential construction on the land shown on the map, it is incumbent on any person interested in acquiring one of these lands to consult the Town planning, land use and environment department. of the City of Gaspé.
General conditions of sale of land
The allocation of all the land offered for sale on this page will be made according to the receipt of the offer forms at the direction of legal services and the registry from the date on which the land will be officially put up for sale (first come , first served).
Everything is subject to the signing of the offer form (available on the website of the city of Gaspé) by the applicants with the obligation to sign a notarized deed of sale within 60 days of the adoption of the resolution accepting said sale by the municipal council.

The offer that will be given to the city must be accompanied by a certified check or money order in the amount of five hundred dollars ($ 500 denominated) payable to the city of Gaspé. If the offer is accepted, this amount will be kept as a deposit until the deed of sale is signed and it will be deducted from the sale price. If the offer is refused, it will be returned to the applicant as soon as possible. On the other hand, if the applicant decides not to purchase the building any longer, the deposit will be kept by the city.
No intermediary (real estate broker) will be allowed to submit an offer on behalf of an individual or a legal person.
Will be included in the act of sale, a retrocession clause of the building if the applicant fails to build within the time limit, all at the expense of the applicant;
Sales of land will be made without any legal warranty, at the risk and peril of the purchaser.
The fees relating to the preparation of the notarial deed and the surveys, if applicable, will be assumed in full by the applicant.
