WRITTEN CONSULTATION ON A DRAFT REGULATION
NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal Council of Ville de Gaspé, at its regular meeting held on January 18, 2021, adopted by resolution the following first draft by-law:
First draft by-law 1157-11-02:
The proposed by-law amends subdivision by-law 1157-11 by:
- Modifying the title of point C) of article 5.3 Particular standards for multi-family dwellings *, integrated projects * and real estate complexes *.
This draft regulation contains provisions specific to a regulation subject to referendum approval.
The written consultation with regard to this draft by-law was determined by the municipal council under the terms of resolution 21-01-025 adopted at its regular meeting of January 18, 2021. Thus, in accordance with Order number 2020-074 of the Minister of Health and Social Services dated October 2, 2020, any procedure which involves the movement or assembly of citizens, which is part of the decision-making process of the city council, is replaced by written consultation announced 15 days in advance by public notice.
A written consultation on this draft regulation 1157-11-02 will therefore take place from 21 January at 5 February 2021. Anyone interested can send their comments in writing to the Legal Services and Registry Department at the following email address: email@example.com
Consequently, after the holding of this written consultation, the municipal council will take cognizance of the written comments received and it may adopt a second draft by-law. This second draft regulation may take into account the written comments received during this period of written consultation.

REGULATION No 1157-11-02
REGULATIONS AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION BY-LAW No.1157-11 IN :
- Modifying the title of point C) of article 5.3 Standards specific for multi-family dwellings *, integrated projects * and real estate complexes *
WHEREAS the City of Gaspé has adopted the Subdivision regulations no 1157-11 ;
WHEREAS the City of Gaspé is governed by the Planning and Town Planning Act (RSQ, c. A-19.1) and that the Regulation no 1157-11 may only be amended in accordance with the provisions of this law;
WHEREAS following the directives of Ministerial Order number 2020-074 the Minister of Health and Social Services of October 2, 2020 issued in the context of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) which stipulates that any procedure other than referendum which is part of the decision-making process of a municipal body and which involves the movement or gathering of citizens can be replaced by a written consultation procedure, the public consultation meeting on the draft by-law 1157-11-02 has therefore been replaced through a written consultation procedure held from _________ 2021 to ___________ 2021;
WHEREAS this by-law contains provisions that may be the subject of a request from interested persons so that it is submitted for their approval in accordance with the Municipal Elections and Referendums Act (LRQ, c. E-2.2);
WHEREAS a public notice to interested persons having the right to sign a request to participate in a referendum was published on the website of the City of Gaspé, on
WHEREAS a notice of motion to present this by-law was regularly given at the regular meeting of this council, held on
THEREFORE, it is proposed by
THAT a by-law of this council, number 1157-11-02, be and be adopted and that the following be enacted and decreed, namely:
ARTICLE 1: The Subdivision regulations no 1157-11 is amended in:
- Modifying the title of point C) of article 5.3 Standards specific for multi-family dwellings *, integrated projects * and real estate complexes * as following :

ARTICLE 2: This subdivision by-law is an integral part of the subdivision by-law that it modifies;
ARTICLE 3: The present by-law comes into force in accordance with the law.
