NOTICE is hereby given that the request for a minor exemption will be considered, during the regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the City of Gaspé which will be held in camera by videoconference, on Tuesday April 6, 2021, at 19:30 p.m. to zoning by-law 1156-11 presented by Mr. Robert Cotton, for Les Habitations de la Plage inc., concerning lot 6 361 061, cadastre of Quebec.
The nature and effects of the minor exemption are as follows:
- the nature of the minor exemption consists of the increase by one storey of the maximum height in storeys for a three-family dwelling compared to the maximum height of 2 storeys established in the specifications grid for zone RT-167 of the Zoning by-law noo1156-11 .
- the minor exemption will have the effect of allowing the construction of an isolated three-family dwelling with a height of 3 floors.
Planning and Town Planning Act provides that any interested party can be heard by the municipal council when the latter must rule on a request for a minor exemption, but currently, under ministerial decree 2020-029 dated April 26, 2020, the meetings of the council may exceptionally be in camera during a state of health emergency;
Under decree 102-2021 of February 5, 2021, any procedure, other than referendum, which is part of the decision-making process of a municipal body and which involves the movement or gathering of citizens is replaced by a written consultation, announced in advance. by a public notice, lasting 15 days;
The municipal council, during the regular meeting to be held in camera by videoconference on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 19:30 p.m., will rule on this request for a minor exemption.
