WRITTEN CONSULTATION AND PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING FIRST DRAFT OF BY-LAW 1551-25 “CONCERNANT LES ENTENTES RELATIVES À DES TRAVAUX MUNICIPAUX DANS LES ZONES M-278 ET M-279 »

NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its extraordinary meeting held on April 25, 2025, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law 1551-25 and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

The object of this first draft of by-law 1551-25 is to make the issuance of permits or certificates, in zones M-278 and M-279, subject to the conclusion of an agreement between the applicant and the City on the carrying out of municipal works relating to municipal infrastructure and equipment and on the assumption and sharing of costs relating to this work, and to provide, in certain cases, that part of these costs is assumed by the City.

During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of their adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.

In addition, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from April 24 to May 2, 2025 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Friday May 2, 2025, as follows:

  • By mail, in person, by delivery services or by messenger at the Town clerk office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé, Québec, G4X 2A5;
