NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on January 16, 2023, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Brent Simpson for the company 9167-8995 Québec Inc. for a property situated at 165, boulevard de Gaspé.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to increase of 2,4m2 the area for a sign lay down on a building wall in accordance to the maximal area of 5 m2 required at the article 22.12.6 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize permit the installation of a sign lay down on the front wall of the building with an area of 7,4 m2.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given:

1.-      THAT at a meeting held on November 7, 2022, the Town Council has adopted by-law 1156-11-61 by-law amending the Zoning By-Law 1156-11 in:

  • « modifiant les usages autorisés dans la zone PV-288 afin de permettre l’usage spécifiquement permis Garderie pour enfants (6541) et d’ajouter des normes d’implantation et d’occupation;»;

2.-      THAT by-law 1156-11-61 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on November 23, 2022;

3.-      THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the Secretary-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of by-law 1156-11-61 on November 24, 2022;

4.-      THAT by-law 1156-11-61 came into force on November 24, 2022, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

5.-      THAT the interested can consult this by-law at the Office of the Town clerk, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, during regular office hours.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with article 474.2 of the Cities and Towns Act, that at a special meeting that will be held at the Town Hall on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 7 pm, the Town Council will adopt its 2023 budget and its triennial program of fixed assets.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on December 5, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr François Roussy, for the company 9417-7524 Québec Inc. for a property situated at 205, rue Guignion.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to reduce of 0.75 m the distance of the lateral line for a shed in accordance to the distance minimal of the lateral lines of 1,50 m required at the article 8.8.1 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the construction of a shed located at 0.75 m of the left lateral line.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on December 5, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the land division By-Law 1157-11, presented by Mr Mathieu Vallée for a property constituted by lot 5 459 131, Cadastre du Québec.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to reduce of 13,49 m the width of a building lot in accordance to the minimal width of 45 m required at the article 5.3 A) of the land division By-Law 1157-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the subdivision of the lot 5 459 131, cadastre du Québec, to create 2 buildings lots with each one a width of 31,51 m.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on December 5, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mrs Marie-Pier Langlais for a property situated at 140, montée de Corte-Real.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to reduce of 0,84 m the minimal distance of the lateral line for an isolated private garage in accordance to the minimal distance of the laterals lines of 1.50 m establish at the article 8.8.2.2 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize the implantation of an isolated private garage located at 0.66 m of the right lateral line.

  • THAT at an ordinary meeting held on October 4, 2022, the Town Council has adopted the following By-Laws:

1487-22     « décrétant une dépense et un emprunt de 2 303 954 $ pour le remplacement et l’acquisition de véhicules, d’outillage et d’équipement.

1488-22     décrétant une dépense et un emprunt d’une somme de 2 366 132 $ pour des services professionnels en architecture et ingénierie pour la construction d’un nouveau complexe sportif à Gaspé. »

  • THAT these By-Laws 1487-22 and 1488-22 have been approved by the persons qualified to vote during the register opened for that purpose October 17 and 18, 2022.
  • THAT this By-Law 1487-22 have been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on November 2, 2022.
  • THAT this By-Law 1488-22 have been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on November 4, 2022.

1.-     THAT at a meeting held on October 3, 2022, the Town Council has adopted by-law 1156-11-59 by-law amending the Zoning By-Law 1156-11 in:

  • « modifiant la note 1 de la zone F-138 ajoutant que les usages de la classe d’usages Industrie extractive (I-3) soient implantés à l’extérieur des aires de protection immédiates et intermédiaires d’une installation de prélèvement d’eau de surface de catégorie 1 ou 2;
  • ajoutant un sixième et un septième points à l’article 23.6.1 LES PUITS PUBLICS (EAU SOUTERRAINE);
  • ajoutant un troisième point à l’article 23.6.2 LES PRISES D’EAU PUBLIQUES (EAU DE SURFACE) »;

2.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-59 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on October 25, 2022;

3.-     THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the Secretary-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of by-law 1156-11-59 on October 25, 2022;

4.-     THAT according to the articles 137.13 and 137.15 of the Act respecting land use planning and development, no request on the conformity to the Commission municipale du Québec has been deposited;

5.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-59 came into force on November 5, 2022, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

6.-     THAT the interested can consult this by-law at the Office of the Town clerk, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, during regular office hours.
