Minor exemption - 300, York South boulevard

MINOR EXEMPTION

FROM URBANISM BY-LAWS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday September 17, 2018, at 8 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Harold Dupuis for Égide Dupuis et fils inc. for a property situated at 300, York South boulevard.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to:
  • increase of 7 m² the area for a sign in accordance with the maximal area of 5 m², when 2 separated signs are on the main facade of a main building, required by the article 22.12.4, paragraph 1, of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • increase of 2.5 m2 of the area for a sign fixed to the ground in accordance to the maximal area of 10 m2 required by the article 22.12.4, paragraph 3, of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • increase of 0.7 m the height for a sign fixed to the ground in accordance to the maximal height of 6 m required by the article 22.12.4, paragraph 9, of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit to put on the main façade of a building a sign with an area of 12 m2 and a second one with an area of 5 m2 and to permit to put on a sign fixed to the ground with an area of 12.5 m2 and a height of 6.7 m.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.
