Minor exemption - 180, montée de Wakeham

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held in the hall of the Town Hall on Monday March 7, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr André Lépine, for the company McDonald’s restaurants of Canada, for a property situated at 180, montée de Wakeham.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to increase of 2 the number of signs fixed on ground in accordance to the total number of sign establish at the article 22.12.4 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the installation of 2 signs on base from electronic type bringing the total number of signs fixed on ground at 5.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

In addition, due to the measures taken by the Government of Quebec in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the rules for public consultation meetings and Order 2021-054 of July 16, 2021, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from February 17 to March 7, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Monday, March 7, 2022, 4h30 pm as follows:

  • By delivering them directly to the legal services and town clerk’s office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé from February 28th, 2022;
  • By mail to the legal services and town clerk’s office at 25, rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspe (Quebec), G4X 2A5
