Minor exemption - 61, avenue Kennedy

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Mathieu Guimond, for a property situated at 61, avenue Kennedy.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is :
  • to reduce of 4 m the front back margin in accordance to the minimal front back margin of 7m required at the specifications grid of the M-416 zone of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • to reduce of 7,53 m the depth of a front court to install an isolated private garage in accordance to the minimal depth of 20 m required at the article 8.8.2.2 of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • to increase of 0,4 m the height of an isolated private garage in accordance to the maximal height of 6 m required at the article 8.8.2.2 of the Zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the construction of an isolated private garage in a front court of 12,47 m with a front back margin of 3 m and a height of 6,4 m.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

In addition, this request for minor exemption will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from March 24 to April 19, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Tuesday, April 19, 2022, 4h30 pm as follows:

  • By delivering them directly to the legal services and registry office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé;
