NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on January 15, 2024, has adopted by resolution the first draft resolution number 24-01-020 for the modification of a specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable PPCMOI 1444-21-001 in order to modify the resolution 21-09-029:
This first draft resolution was adopted within the framework of By-law 1444-21 on specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable (PPCMOI) and aims to modify the condition in relation to the maximum number of the chalet tourist rental of a specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable (PPCMOI 1444-21-001, resolution 21-09-029) to increase the maximal number of 26 to 29 on the lot 4 470 529, cadastre du Québec bearing the civic address 1961, boulevard de Douglas and located in zone PA-184 which is shaded in gray darker in the following sketch:
This draft resolution, in accordance with the law, will be submitted to a public consultation as to its objects and the consequences of its adoption during a public meeting held by the Council in the hall of the town hall, on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 5 p.m.
In addition, this draft resolution will also be the subject of a written consultation to be held from January 19 to February 2, 2024, inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations or comments in writing, no later than Friday, February 2, 2024, as follows:
- By sending or delivering them directly to the Director of legal services and town clerk’s Office located at City Hall at 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, Quebec, G4X 2A5;
- By email at vezina@ville.gaspe.qc.ca
During this meeting, the Mayor, or another member of the Council designated by him, will explain the draft resolution and the consequences of its adoption and will hear the people and organizations who wish to speak.
Consequently, following this public consultation meeting, the municipal Council will take note of the comments received and can adopt a second draft resolution. This second draft resolution may consider comments received during this public consultation meeting.
A presentation of the draft resolution concerning the modification of PPCMOI 1444-21-001 and the resolution 21-09-029, as well as the draft resolution and the plan of the concerned zone can be consulted on the website of the City of Gaspé at https://ville.gaspe.qc.ca/en/services-municipaux/informations-rapides/avis-publics.
This draft resolution concerning a PPCMOI contains provisions specific to a regulation likely to be approved by referendum, which will be more fully detailed in a subsequent notice.
In addition, the draft resolution is also available for consultation at the town Clerk's Office at Town Hall during regular business hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
