NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on June 19, 2023, has adopted by resolution the first draft resolution number 23-06-067 for specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable PPCMOI number 1444-21-003:
This first draft resolution was adopted within the framework of By-law 1444-21 on specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable (PPCMOI) and aims to authorize the construction of a multi-family dwelling with 13 dwellings, 3 floors and additional elements on lots 3 147 188 and 3 409 431 (lot having a width of 15.23 meters), Quebec cadastre, located in zone HC-228, while the specification grid for zone HC-228 of Zoning By-law no 1156-11 stipulates a maximum of 8 dwellings and 2 storeys and that article 5.3 C) of Land division By-law no 1157-11 stipulates a minimum lot width of 24 metres.
The project in question is located in zone HC-228 and is identified in darker gray on the following sketch:
This resolution will make it possible to derogate from the specification grid for zone HC-228 of Zoning By-law no 1156-11 as well as article 5.3 C) of Land division By-law no 1157-11.
This draft resolution, in accordance with the law, will be submitted to a public consultation as to its objects and the consequences of its adoption during a public meeting held by the Council in the hall of the town hall, on Monday, July 5, 2023 at 5 p.m.
In addition, this draft resolution will also be the subject of a written consultation to be held from June 22 to July 3, 2023, inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations or comments in writing, no later than Monday, July 3, 2023, as follows:
- By sending or delivering them directly to the Director of legal services and town clerk’s Office located at City Hall at 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, Quebec, G4X 2A5;

During this meeting, the Mayor, or another member of the Council designated by him, will explain the draft resolution and the consequences of its adoption and will hear the people and organizations who wish to speak.
Consequently, following this public consultation meeting, the municipal Council will take note of the comments received and can adopt a second draft resolution. This second draft resolution may consider comments received during this public consultation meeting.

This draft resolution concerning a PPCMOI contains provisions specific to a regulation likely to be approved by referendum, which will be more fully detailed in a subsequent notice.
In addition, the draft resolution is also available for consultation at the town Clerk's Office at Town Hall during regular business hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
