NOTICE is hereby given, by the undersigned, in accordance with articles 73 and 74.1 of the Act respecting municipal taxation C.Q.L.R, C. F-2.1 that:
·             the real estate assessment roll of the Town of Gaspe for the fiscal years 2024-2025-2026 for the 1st fiscal year beginning January 1st, 2024 was deposited in my office on October 31, 2023;
·             any person interested may examine the roll by contacting Finance department at City Hall during regular business hours at 418-368-2104 ext. 8514 or by email at serv.administratif@ville.gaspe.qc.ca;
·             any person who has in interest in contesting the accuracy, presence or absence of an entry on this real estate assessment roll, in relation to an assessment unit, which he or another person owns, may file an application for review in respect of this roll; 

To be admissible, any application for review must:
·             be submitted before May 1st, 2024;
·             be deposited duly filed at the following location or be sent by registered mail:

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given :

1.      THAT at a meeting held on August 10, 2023, the Town Council has adopted By-Law 1515-23 « règlement modifiant le règlement 1423-20 autorisant des travaux de mise à niveau d’équipements d’eau potable et d’assainissement des eaux, de connaissance des infrastructures TECQ 2019-2023 au montant de 4 724 578 $ et un emprunt de 1 229 211.40 $, pour augmenter le montant de la dépense de 4 724578 $ èa 7 062 857 $ et augmenter le montant de l’emprunt de 1 229 211.40 $ à 2 246 469 $. ».

2.      THAT By-Law 1515-23 has been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on October 31, 2023.

3.      THAT this regulation comes into force in accordance with the law.

4.      THAT the interested can consult that By-Law at the Clerk’s office, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, during regular office hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given:

1.-     THAT at a meeting held on October 5, 2023, the Town Council has adopted this by-law 1156-11-64, « règlement amendant le règlement de zonage 1156-11 en modifiant les usages autorisés dans les zones HB-293 et HE-295 afin de permettre comme usage spécifiquement permis l’usage Ensemble immobilier pour personnes ayant besoin d’aide, de protection, de soins ou d’hébergement d’un maximum de 32 logements »

2.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-64 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on October 11, 2023;

3.-     THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the Secretary-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of by-law 1156-11-64 on October 16, 2023;

4.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-64 came into force on October 16, 2023, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

5.-     THAT the interested can consult that by-law at the Office of the Town clerk, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, during regular office hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday November 20, 2023, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr. Félix Ménard Saint-Denis for the CISSS de la Gaspésie concerning a property situated at 150, rue Monseigneur-Ross.

  • The nature of this exemption is the use of canexel type engineered wood as exterior siding construction material for complementary buildings, when this material is not the same type as those of the main building as established in section 19.2 required by the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize the use of canexel type engineered wood as exterior siding construction material (walls) for the 8 new additional buildings that are not of the same type as those of the main building.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday November 20, 2023, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr. Bernard Lemieux for a property situated at 29, rue Jalobert.

  • The nature of the minor exemption is to reduce of 0.13 m in the left lateral setback for an isolate private garage compared to the minimum lateral setback of 1.50 m required at the article 8.8.2.2 of zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize an isolated private garage having a left lateral setback of 1.37 m.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday November 20, 2023, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr. Mathieu Normand-Chicoine for a property situated at 2, montée de Corte-Real.

  • The nature of the minor derogation is to increase of one floor the floor height in accordance to the maximum floor height of 2 required in the specification grid for zone M-414, of the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize a main building with a height of 3 floors.
