NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at its ordinary meeting held on February 17, 2020, has adopted the following By-Law:

By-law 1415-20 :

« Règlement décrétant l’adoption d’un programme d’aide sous forme de crédit de taxes pour promouvoir la construction de logements intergénérationnels sur le territoire de la ville de Gaspé et remplaçant le règlement 1360-18. »

By-law 1413-20 :

By-law 1414-20 :

« Règlement remplaçant le règlement 1385-19 et créant un nouveau règlement pour imposer de nouveaux tarifs pour la collecte des déchets, l’entretien du lieu d’enfouissement technique, la gestion intégrée des déchets, la collecte des matières recyclables, le transport de ces matières et leur traitement au centre de tri de Grande-Rivière, la collecte des matières organiques, le transport de ces matières et leur traitement au site de compostage de Chandler. »

NOTICE is also given that this By-Law is deposited at the office of the municipality and that the interested may there take cognizance thereof during regular office hours.

            GIVEN at Gaspe, February 12, 2020.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on March 2, 2020, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mrs Alexandra Caouette and Mr Maxime Paré for a property situated at 740, boulevard de Saint-Majorique.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to :
  • increase of 34 m2 the area for a farm building in accordance to the maximal area of 100 m2 required by the article 11.2.4 of the Zoning By-law 1156-11;

 

  • increase of 1,3 m the height for a farm building in accordance to the maximal height of 6,5 m required by the article 11.2.4 of the Zoning By-law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the construction of a farm building with an area of 134 m2 and a height of 7,8 m.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

        By-law 1405-19:

        « Créant une réserve financière au profit de l’ensemble du territoire de la municipalité pour une somme de 90 000 $ en 2020. »

        By-law 1406-19:

        « Créant une réserve financière au profit du quartier numéro 1 pour une somme de 5 000 $ en 2020. »

        By-law 1407-19:

        « Créant une réserve financière au profit du quartier numéro 2 pour une somme de 13 000 $ en 2020. »

        By-law 1408-19:

        « Créant une réserve financière au profit du quartier numéro 3 pour une somme de 15 000 $ en 2020. »

By-law 1412-20 :

NOTICE is also given that this By-Law is deposited at the office of the municipality and that the interested may there take cognizance thereof during regular office hours.

            GIVEN at Gaspe, January 22, 2019.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the land division By-Law 1157-11, presented by Mr Jean-Guy Simard, for the compagny 9167-9001 Québec Inc. regarding the property at 960, route de Haldimand.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is for each lots, in the reduction of 1,45 m of the width of a building lot in accordance to the minimal width of 45 m required at the article 5.3 of the land division By-Law 1157-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the subdivision of a lot to create 2 building lots with a width of 43.55 m each.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on February 3, 2020, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Hugo Cavanagh, for the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des îles, campus de Gaspé, for a property situated at 96, rue Jacques-Cartier.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to increase of 4, the number of colors in accordance to the maximal number of 3 required at the article 5.7 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit temporary the presence of 7 colors on the exterior siding.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned, Clerk of Ville de Gaspé, that at an ordinary sitting held on December 16, 2019, the Town Council has adopted the following By-Law:

1411-19 CRÉANT UNE RÉSERVE FINANCIÈRE AU PROFIT DU QUARTIER NUMÉRO 6 POUR UNE SOMME DE 21 000 $ EN 2020

THAT the persons qualified to vote on the By-Law on the date of December 16, 2019, and who have therefore the right to demand that this By-Law be submitted to a referendum poll will have access to a register open for that purpose from nine (9) hours to nineteen (19) hours on January 8, 2020, at the office of the undersigned, at the Town Hall in order to enter their name, address and occupation together with their signature.

IS A QUALIFIED VOTER OF THE MUNICIPALITY

A person who, on December 16, 2019, is not disqualified from voting according to article 524 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities and meets the following requirements:

·        a natural person domiciled in the municipality and, since at least six months, in Québec and

·        is of full age and a Canadian citizen, and not under curatorship.

The non resident sole owner of an immoveable or non resident sole occupant of a business place situated in the municipality who is not disqualified from voting and meets the following requirements:

·        is the owner of an immoveable or sole occupant of a business place situated in the municipality since at least 12 months;

·        in the case of a natural person, be of full age and Canadian citizen and not under curatorship.

The non resident undivided co-owners and non resident co-occupants of a business place situated in the municipality not disqualified from voting and meet the following requirements:

·        is the undivided co-owner of an immoveable or co-occupant of a business place situated in the municipality since at least 12 months;

·        is designated by means of a power of attorney signed by a majority of the persons who are co-owners or co-occupants since at least 12 months, as the one who has the right to sing in their name and to be entered on the referendum list of the municipality. This power of attorney must be produced before or at the signature time.

Legal person:

·        have designated by resolution among its members, directors or employees, a person who, on December 16, 2019, and at voting time, is of full age and Canadian citizen, is not under  curatorship and is not disqualified to vote.

THAT the persons qualified to vote on the By-Law in question must establish their identity to the responsible person for the register, by presenting, among others: a health-insurance card issued by the Québec Health Insurance Board, a driver’s permit issued by the Québec Automobile Insurance Society, a Canadian passport, an identity card of the Canadian armed forces, a certificate of Indian status.

THAT the number of applications needed in order that a referendum poll be held is 334 and failing this number, the concerned By-Law will be deemed approved by the qualified voters.

THAT the qualified voters may examine this By-Law at the office of the undersigned from 8 h 15 am till 12 h and from 1 h till 4 h 30 pm from Monday till Thursday,  and from 8 h 15 am till 12 h on Friday, and during registration hours.

THAT the result of this registration procedure will be announced on January 8, 2020, at 7 pm, at the office of the undersigned, 25, rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville in Gaspé.
