NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on June 4, 2018, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.

Draft of by-law 1172-12-10:

The draft of by-law amends the zoning by-law 1172-12, as follows:

  • Ajoutant l’article 2.13 DISPOSITIONS APPLICABLES POUR L’USAGE TRANSPORT PAR TAXI (4291) DANS LA ZONE Hc-267

The concerned zone (HC-267), situated in the York area,  is illustrated on the following sketche :

During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of their adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.

The draft of by-law is available for consultation at the Town Hall office.

            NOTICE is hereby given that at an ordinary Council meeting that will be held on monday, June 4, 2018, at 8.00 p.m., the Treasurer will deposit the financial report and the auditor’s report for the year 2017.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday June 18, 2018, at 8 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Maxime Bernatchez for a property situated at 269, rue Jacques-Cartier.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to :
  • increase of 2 m the permit height for a shed in accordance to the maximal height of 4m required by the article 8.8.1 of the zoning By-law 1156-11, and that, to conform the transformation of the garage into a shed with a height of 6m.
  • increase of 1.2 m the permit height for a garage in accordance to the maximal height of 6m required by the article 8.8.2.2 of the zoning By-law 1156-11, and that, to permit the construction of an isolated private garage with an height of 7.2 m.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the transformation of a garage into a shed with an height of 6m and permit the construction of an isolated private garage with an height of 7.2 m.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on June 18, 2018, at 8 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mrs Gabrielle Minville for a property situated at 1, rue des Hérons.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to reduce of 14 cm the minimal distance asked of 1.5 m of the lateral line required at the article 8.8.1 by the zoning By-Law 1156-11;
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize the implantation of an isolated shed located at 1.36 m of the lateral line.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

Thw town of Gaspé ask the citizens connected to the Gaspé sector water network to boil their water at least one minute before consumption. The Public Work direction thank you for your collaboration.

The town remind you that it is a preventive notice and the public works department will notify the population as soon as the situation will get back to normal.

4.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-28 came into force on April 16, 2018, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

MINOR EXEMPTION

FROM URBANISM BY-LAWS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 8 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Hôtel Baker Ltée, for a property situated at 178, rue de la Reine.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is to:
    • increase of 18 m2 the maximum area of 10 m2 authorized for signs affixed flat on the walls of the building established by the section 22.12.5 of Zoning By-law 1156-11;
  • increase of two (2) the number of signs on post in accordance to the maximum number of two (2) signs on post by principal building establish by the section 22.12.5 of Zoning By-law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to :
  • permit the installation, the regulation and the modification of three (3) signs affixed flat on the walls of the building with a total area of 28 m2;
  • permit the installation of four (4) signs on post.
