NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at its ordinary meeting held on May 2, 2022, has adopted the following By-Law:

By-law 1482-22 :

« Règlement régissant l’installation et l’entretien des compteurs d’eau des immeubles non-résidentiels et de certains immeubles résidentiels. »

NOTICE is also given that this By-Law is deposited at the office of the municipality and that the interested may there take cognizance thereof during regular office hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on May 2, 2022, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.

Draft of by-law 1170-12-05

The draft of by-law amends the by-law 1170-12, as follows:

  • Remplaçant le point b) de l’article 2 PERMIS DE CONSTRUCTION (NOUVELLE CONSTRUCTION*)
  • Remplaçant le point b) de l’article 3 PERMIS DE RENOVATION (MODIFICATION D’UNE CONSTRUCTION* EXISTANTE) 

During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of their adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.

This draft regulation does not contain provisions specific to a by-law to be approved by referendum.

In addition, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from May 5 to 16, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Monday, May 16, 2022, as follows:

  • By delivering them directly to the legal services and registry office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé;

This draft of by-law as well as a video capsule briefly explaining this project are available on the city’s website, in the document attached to this notice.

The draft of by-law is also available for consultation at the Town Hall office.

ATTENDU QUE la Ville de Gaspé a adopté le Règlement relatif à la gestion des règlements d’urbanisme no 1170-12;

ATTENDU QUE la Ville de Gaspé est régie par la Loi sur l’aménagement et l’urbanisme (L.R.Q., ch. A-19.1) et que le règlement no 1170-12 ne peut être modifié que conformément aux dispositions de cette loi;

ATTENDU QU’une assemblée publique de consultation a été tenue sur le présent règlement, qui portait alors le numéro de projet de règlement 1170-12-05, le

ATTENDU QU’un avis de motion de la présentation de ce règlement a régulièrement été donné à la séance régulière de ce conseil, tenue le

QU’un règlement de ce conseil, portant le numéro 1170-12-05, soit et est adopté et qu’il soit statué et décrété ce qui suit, à savoir :

ARTICLE 1 :   Le Règlement relatif à la gestion des règlements d’urbanisme no 1170-12 est amendé en :

  • remplaçant le point b) de l’article 2 PERMIS DE CONSTRUCTION (NOUVELLE CONSTRUCTION*) par le suivant :

  • trois dollars (3,00 $) par mille dollars (1 000,00 $) d’évaluation des coûts des travaux ou fraction de mille dollars (1 000,00 $) dans le cas du premier cent mille dollars (100 000,00 $) ;

THAT the persons qualified to vote on the By-Law on the date of May 2, 2022, and who have therefore the right to demand that this By-Law be submitted to a referendum poll will have access to a register open for that purpose from nine (9) hours to nineteen (19) hours on May 10 and 11, 2022 at the office of the undersigned, at the Town Hall in order to enter their name, address and occupation together with their signature.

IS A QUALIFIED VOTER OF THE MUNICIPALITY

A person who, on May 2, 2022, is not disqualified from voting according to article 524 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities and meets the following requirements:

  • a natural person domiciled in the municipality and, since at least six months, in Québec and
  • is of full age and a Canadian citizen, and not under curatorship.

The non resident sole owner of an immoveable or non resident sole occupant of a business place situated in the municipality who is not disqualified from voting and meets the following requirements:

  • is the owner of an immoveable or sole occupant of a business place situated in the municipality since at least 12 months;
  • in the case of a natural person, be of full age and Canadian citizen and not under curatorship.

The non resident undivided co-owners and non resident co-occupants of a business place situated in the municipality not disqualified from voting and meet the following requirements:

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to regularize the implantation of a permanent chalet with a front back margin of 6,70 m.
