NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday July 11, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mtre Isabelle Simard, for the property located at 69, rue de la Plage.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is :
  • the reduction of 1.13m in the lateral setback margin compared to the minimum lateral setback margin of 2 m established in the specification grid for zone RT-168 of Zoning By-law no. 1156-11;
  • Regularize the location of a cottage with a left lateral setback margin of 0.87 m².

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

In addition, this request for minor exemption will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from June 23 to July 8, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Friday, July 8, 2022, 4h30 pm as follows:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at its ordinary meeting held on June 6, 2022, has adopted the following By-Law: 

By-law  1483-22 : 

« Règlement amendant le règlement 1443-21 concernant la garde et le contrôle des animaux. » 

NOTICE is also given that these By-Law is deposited at the office of the municipality and that the interested may there take cognizance thereof during regular office hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given:

1.-     THAT at a meeting held on May 16, 2022, the Town Council has adopted by-law 1156-11-55 by-law amending By-Law 1156-11 « agrandissant la zone HB-201 à même une partie de la zone C-207, et ce, afin d’inclure le lot 3 148 555, cadastre du Québec ».

2.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-55 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on May 18, 2022;

3.-     THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the Secretary-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of by-law 1156-11-55 on May 20, 2022;

4.-     THAT by-law 1156-11-55 came into force on May 20, 2022, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

5.-     THAT the interested can consult this by-law at the Office of the Town clerk, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, during regular office hours.

1.-     THAT at a meeting held on April 19, 2022, the Town Council has adopted by-law 1156-11-54 by-law amending By-Law 1156-11 « modifiant les usages autorisés dans la zone C-282 afin de permettre comme usage spécifiquement permis dans cette zone, l’usage Établissement touristique de type hôtelier d’un minimum de 5 unités offrant de l’hébergement dans des chambres, des suites ou des appartements »

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday June 6, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Mario Massé, for the company Massé-Roy Inc., for a property situated at 651, boulevard de York Sud.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is a 3% increase of the percentage of expansion for a derogatory use compared to the 0% expansion percentage establish at the article 25.1.4.1 of the zoning By-Law 1156-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to allow the construction of a 14 m² extension on the right wall of the main building representing a percentage of 3% expansion.

During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

1.      THAT at a meeting held on February 7, 2022, the Town Council has adopted By-Law 1472-22 «décrétant un emprunt et une dépense d’une somme de 278 217 $ pour la réalisation de travaux de réfection des composantes des réseaux d’aqueduc et d’égout».

2.      THAT By-Law 1472-22 has been approved by the qualified voters during a writing register held from February 10 to 25, 2022.

3.      THAT By-Law 1472-22 have been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on May 6, 2022.

4.      THAT this regulation comes into force in accordance with the law.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is reduce of 4,99 m the minimal weight required for an unserved lot in accordance to the minimal weight of 45 m establish at the article 5.3 A) of land division By-Law 1157-11.
  • the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the subdivision of the lot 4 469 478, cadastre du Québec, to create a building lot with a width of 40,01 m.

NOTICE is hereby given that, following the public consultation meeting which was held on May 2, 2022, the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé" has accepted by resolution, on May 2, 2022, a second draft of by-law 1156-11-55 amending the zoning by-law.  This second draft contains provisions that may be subject to an application made by interested persons from anyone of the zones to which such provisions apply and of the contiguous zones, to require that a by-law containing these be submitted for their approval, in accordance with the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities.

1.       PURPOSE OF AN APPLICATION TO TAKE PART TO A REFERENDUM

           An application relating to the following provision of the second draft:

  • « Agrandissant la zone HB-201 à même une partie de la zone C-207, et ce, afin d’inclure le lot 3 147 555, cadastre du Québec »;

Such an application is required that the by-law containing the provision to which it applies be submitted for the approval of the qualified voters in the zone to which applies this application, and in any contiguous zone from which a valid application originates. However any contiguous zone who has made an application will participate at the referendum approval only if the application also originates of the zone to which it is contiguous.

2.  LOCALIZATION OF THE CONCERNED ZONES

The concerned zone HB-201, is located on boulevard de Gaspé, and illustrated on the following sketch:

3.       VALIDITY OF AN APPLICATION

To be valid, an application to take part to a referendum must:

  • state clearly the provision of the second draft to which the application refers;
  • indicate the zone from which the application originates;
  • be signed by at least 12 interested persons of the zone from which it originates, if there are more than 21 interested persons in that zone, or, otherwise, by the majority of the interested persons;
  • be received by the Town clerk office at the town hall no later than May 13, 2022, 4:30 pm.

4.       INTERESTED PERSONS WHO ARE ENTITLED TO SIGN AN APPLICATION

An interested person is a person of full age, Canadian citizen and not under curatorship who, on the date of adoption of the second draft, which is May 2, 2022, is not disqualified from voting and meets one of the following requirements:

  • is domiciled in a zone from which an application may originate and who has been domiciled in Québec for at least 6 months;
  • is the owner of an immovable or the occupant of a business place situated on such a zone since 12 months at least.
  1. LACK OF APPLICATIONS

Should there be no valid applications relating to the provisions of the second draft, the said provisions may be then included in a by-law which will not have to be submitted for the approval of the qualified voters.

6.        CONSULTATION OF THE DRAFT

The second draft of by-law is available, in French, for consultation at the Clerk’s office at the Town Hall during regular work hours, that is from 8 h 15 am till 12 h and from 1 h till 4 h 30 pm, Monday till Thursday, and from 8 h 15 am till 12 h on Friday.
