PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given :

1. THAT at a meeting held on April 19, 2022, the Town Council has adopted By-Law 1478-22 « décrétant un emprunt et une dépense d’une somme de 3 422 068 $ pour la réalisation de travaux de rapiéçage mécanisé sur diverses rues de la ville de Gaspé».

2. THAT By-Law 1478-22 have been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on July 4, 2022.

3. THAT this regulation comes into force in accordance with the law.

4. THAT the interested can consult that By-Law at the Clerk’s office, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, during regular office hours.

WRITTEN CONSULTATION AND PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING

NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on June 20, 2022, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.

Draft of by-law 1157-11-56

The draft of by-law amends the zoning by-law 1156-11, as follows:

  • Modifiant les usages autorisés dans la zone CR-279 afin de permettre comme usage spécifiquement permis dans cette zone l’usage Service de lavage d’automobiles (sauf ceux à caractère érotique) (6412).

This zone is located in the area between boulevard de York Est and rue du Ruisseau-Dean, and illustrated on the following sketch:

During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of its adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.

This by-law contains provisions specific to a by-law subject to referendum approval.

In addition, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from June 23 to July 8, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Friday, July 8, 2022, as follows:

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given:

1.-     THAT at a meeting held on June 6, 2022, the Town Council has adopted by-law 1170-12-05 by-law amending By-Law 1170-12:

  • Remplaçant le point b) de l’article 2 PERMIS DE CONSTRUCTION (NOUVELLE CONSTRUCTION*)
  • Remplaçant le point b) de l’article 3 PERMIS DE RENOVATION (MODIFICATION D’UNE CONSTRUCTION* EXISTANTE) 

2.-     THAT by-law 1170-12-05 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on June 8, 2022;

3.-     THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the clerk-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of by-law 1170-12-05 on June 10, 2022;

4.-     THAT by-law 1170-12-05 came into force on June 10, 2022, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

5.-     THAT the interested can consult this by-law at the Office of the Town clerk, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Gaspé, during regular office hours.

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS WHO ARE ENTITLED TO SIGN AN APPLICATION TO TAKE PART TO A REFERENDUM

Second draft of resolution number 22-06-056 (adopted on June 20, 2022) Specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable (PPCMOI) - PPCMOI 1444-21-002

NOTICE is hereby given that, following the public consultation meeting which was held on June 6, 2022, the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé" has accepted by resolution, on June 20, 2022, a second draft of resolution number 22-06-056 for specific construction, alteration, or occupancy proposal for an immovable PPCMOI 1444-21-002.  This second draft contains provisions that may be subject to an application made by interested persons from anyone of the zones to wich some provisions apply and the contiguous zones, to require that a by-law containing these be submitted for their approval, in accordance with the Act respecting elections and referendum in municipalities.

2.      LOCALIZATION OF THE CONCERNED ZONES

The concerned zone M-240, and identify in grey, is illustrated on the following sketche:

3.       VALIDITY OF AN APPLICATION

To be valid, an application to take part to a referendum must:

  • state clearly the provision of the second draft to which the application refers;
  • indicate the zone from which the application originates;
  • be signed by at least 12 interested persons of the zone from which it originates, if there are more than 21 interested persons in that zone, or, otherwise, by the majority of the interested persons;
  • be received by the Town clerk office at the town hall no later than July 1st, 2022, 4:30 pm.

4.       INTERESTED PERSONS WHO ARE ENTITLED TO SIGN AN APPLICATION

An interested person is a person of full age, Canadian citizen and not under curatorship who, on the date of adoption of the second draft, which is June 20, 2022, is not disqualified from voting and meets one of the following requirements:

  • is domiciled in a zone from which an application may originate and who has been domiciled in Québec for at least 6 months;
  • is the owner of an immovable or the occupant of a business place situated on such a zone since 12 months at least.
  1. LACK OF APPLICATIONS

Should there be no valid applications relating to the provisions of the second draft, the said provisions may be then included in a by-law which will not have to be submitted for the approval of the qualified voters.

6.        CONSULTATION OF THE DRAFT

The second draft of by-law is available, in French, for consultation in the document also attached to this notice.

We recommend you to consult the Service de l’Urbanisme to verify in which area your building is situated.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday July 11, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mrs Cindy Girard, for the lot 5 012 424, cadastre du Québec.

The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:

  • the nature of the minor exemption is :
  • reduction of 8 m in the front setback margin compared to the minimum front setback margin of 15 m established in the specification chart for zone AF-121 of Zoning By-law no. 1156-11;
