PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given :
1. THAT at a meeting held on April 19, 2022, the Town Council has adopted By-Law 1477-22 «décrétant un emprunt et une dépense d’une somme de 949 870 $ pour la réalisation de travaux de remplacement du système de ventilation de l’usine d’épuration des eaux de Gaspé».
2. THAT By-Law 1477-22 has been approved by the qualified voters during a register held on August 2, 2022.
3. THAT By-Law 1477-22 have been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, on September 2, 2022.
4. THAT this regulation comes into force in accordance with the law.
5. THAT the interested can consult that By-Law at the Clerk’s office, at the Town Hall, 25, rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, during regular office hours.

In accordance with section 137.10 of the Act respecting Land use planning and development (R.S.Q., C.A-19.1), public notice is hereby given to qualified voters entitled to be entered on the referendum list of Ville de Gaspé, of the following:
1- At the regular public meeting of the municipal council held on September 6, 2022, the Town of Gaspé adopted the following by-law:
By-Law 1156-11-57 amends the zoning by-law 1156-11, as follows:
- « modifiant le paragraphe de l’article 5 IMPLANTATION;
- ajoutant l’article 6 DISTANCES SÉPARATRICES RÉCIPROQUES POUR CERTAINS USAGES DE LA CLASSE D’USAGES INDUSTRIE EXTRACTIVE (I-3);
- ajoutant l’article 7 NORMES D’IMPLANTATION À PROXIMITÉ DES VOIES FERRÉES;
- modifiant la limite du périmètre urbain de Rivière-au-Renard à l’annexe 1 carte 3 de 4 « Plan de zonage, Zone du périmètre urbain du centre-ville de Rivière-au-Renard »;
- Any person entitled to vote in the territory of Ville de Gaspé may request in writing from the Commission municipale du Québec his opinion on the conformity of the said by-law with the planning program of Ville de Gaspé.
3- This request must be sent within 30 days of the publication of this notice to:

- If the Commission receives, from at least five (5) qualified voters in the territory of the city, such a request, it will give within 60 days following the expiry of this period of 30 days, its opinion on the conformity of the said by-law with the planning program of the city.
5- If the Commission does not receive such an application from at least five (5) qualified voters from the territory of the city, the by-law will be deemed to be in conformity with the planning program from the expiry of this 30-day period.

NOTICE is hereby given that, following the public consultation meeting which was held on September 6, 2022, the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé" has accepted by resolution, on September 6, 2022, a second draft of by-law 1156-11-58 amending the zoning by-law. This second draft contains provisions that may be subject to an application made by interested persons from anyone of the zones to which such provisions apply and of the contiguous zones, to require that a by-law containing these be submitted for their approval, in accordance with the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities.
1. PURPOSE OF AN APPLICATION TO TAKE PART TO A REFERENDUM
An application relating to the following provision of the second draft:
- « Modifier les usages autorisés dans la zone HC-228 afin de permettre l’usage Multifamiliale et collectif (H-8) avec un maximum de huit (8) logements»;
Such an application is required that the by-law containing the provision to which it applies be submitted for the approval of the qualified voters in the zone to which applies this application, and in any contiguous zone from which a valid application originates. However any contiguous zone who has made an application will participate at the referendum approval only if the application also originates of the zone to which it is contiguous.
2. LOCALIZATION OF THE CONCERNED ZONES
The concerned zone HC-228, is located in the area of Monseigneur-Ross street, and illustrated on the following sketch:
3. VALIDITY OF AN APPLICATION
To be valid, an application to take part to a referendum must:
- state clearly the provision of the second draft to which the application refers;
- indicate the zone from which the application originates;
- be signed by at least 12 interested persons of the zone from which it originates, if there are more than 21 interested persons in that zone, or, otherwise, by the majority of the interested persons;
- be received by the Town clerk office at the town hall no later than September 16, 2022, 4:30 pm.
4. INTERESTED PERSONS WHO ARE ENTITLED TO SIGN AN APPLICATION
An interested person is a person of full age, Canadian citizen and not under curatorship who, on the date of adoption of the second draft, which is September 6, 2022, is not disqualified from voting and meets one of the following requirements:
- is domiciled in a zone from which an application may originate and who has been domiciled in Québec for at least 6 months;
- is the owner of an immovable or the occupant of a business place situated on such a zone since 12 months at least.
- LACK OF APPLICATIONS
Should there be no valid applications relating to the provisions of the second draft, the said provisions may be then included in a by-law which will not have to be submitted for the approval of the qualified voters.
6. CONSULTATION OF THE DRAFT
The second draft of by-law is available, in French, for consultation at the Clerk’s office at the Town Hall during regular work hours, that is from 8 h 15 am till 12 h and from 1 h till 4 h 30 pm, Monday till Thursday, and from 8 h 15 am till 12 h on Friday.

1.- THAT at a meeting held on July 11, 2022, the Town Council has adopted « résolution PPCMOI 1444-21-002 – Projet particulier de construction, de modification ou d’occupation d’un immeuble – 9417-7524 Québec Inc. – Lot 3 147 076, cadastre du Québec – Rue Wakeham – afin de permettre la construction, en 2 phases, d’un ensemble immobilier composé de 4 habitations trifamiliales isolées et d’éléments complémentaires. »
2.- THAT resolution 1444-21-002 has been approved by the council of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé, on July 13, 2022;
3.- THAT an assessment of conformity has been issued by the Secretary-treasurer of the regional county municipality La Côte-de-Gaspé in respect of resolution 1444-21-002 on July 14, 2022;
4.- THAT resolution 1444-21-002 came into force on July 14, 2022, according to the Act respecting land use planning and development;

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council, at an ordinary meeting that will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 7h30 pm, will consider the request for minor exemption from the zoning By-Law 1156-11, presented by Mr Michel Porlier for a property situated at 5, rue du Fort.
The nature and consequences of this exemption are the following:
- the nature of the minor exemption is to reduced of 7,89 m the front back margin in accordance to the minimal front back margin of 9 m required at the specification’s grid of the RT-167 zone of the zoning By-Law 1156-11;
- the minor exemption will have for consequence to permit the moving of a cottage bringing the front back margin at 1,11 m.
During this meeting, the Town Council will hear the interested wishing to be heard on that request.

NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its regular meeting held on July 11, 2022, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.
Draft of by-law 1155-11-02
The draft of by-law amends the urban plan 1155-11, as follows:
- « modifiant la limite du périmètre urbain à l’annexe C « Pôle urbain de Rivière-au-Renard»;
- ajoutant un troisième paragraphe au point B de l’article 3.6.1 Le secteur Nord
- ajoutant un sixième paragraphe à l’article 2 Les contraintes anthropiques;
- ajoutant l’annexe K-1 « Limite des territoires incompatibles avec l’activité minière selon le potentiel minier et droit minier »;
- ajoutant l’annexe K-2 « Limite des territoires incompatibles avec l’activité minière selon les types d’activités ».
During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of its adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.
This by-law does not contain provisions specific to a by-law subject to referendum approval.
In addition, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from August 4 to August 19, 2022 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Friday, August 19, 2022, as follows:
- By delivering them directly to the legal services and registry office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé;

This draft of by-law as well as a video capsule briefly explaining this project are available on the city’s website, in the document attached to this notice.
Following the adoption of the by-law, any person qualified to vote in the territory of the municipality may, according to the public notice that will be published to this effect, ask the Commission municipale du Québec in writing for its opinion on the conformity of the by-law with the plan.
The draft of by-law is also available for consultation at the Town Hall office.
