THAT by virtue of decree 2020-033 of May 7, 2020, taken in the context of the health emergency declaration ordered by the government, any procedure for the registration of qualified voters applied under Chapter IV of Title II of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities can be replaced by a procedure for receiving written requests for a 15-day referendum poll.

NOTICE is hereby given that, following the writtin consultation which was held from October 15 to October 30, 2020, the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé" has accepted by resolution, on November 2, 2020 a second draft of by-law 1156-11-47 amending the zoning by-law. This second draft contains provisions that may be subject to an application made by interested persons from anyone of the zones to which such provisions apply and of the contiguous zones, to require that a by-law containing these be submitted for their approval, in accordance with the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities.

The draft of by-law amends the zoning by-law 1156-11, as follows:
The purpose of this draft by-law is to permit as retail sell of motorcycle, snowmobile and their accessories as permitted use and the location and the reparation of motorcycle, snowmobile and their accessories as complementary use.
This area is located northeast of boulevard de York Sud, between lots 4 055 391 and 4 055 414, cadastre of Québec, next to Super C (327, boulevard de York Sud) and is illustrated on the following sketch:
This by-law applies to all areas of the city and contains provisions specific to a by-law subject to referendum approval.
The written consultation with regard to this draft by-law was determined by the municipal council in accordance with resolution 20-10-019 adopted at its ordinary meeting of October 13, 2020. Thus, in accordance ministerial order number 2020-049 of the Minister of Health and Social Services dated July 4, 2020, any procedure which involves the movement or assembly of citizens, which is part of the decision-making process of the municipal council, can be replaced by a written consultation announced 15 days beforehand by public notice.
A written consultation on this draft by-law 1156-11-47 will therefore take place from October 15, 2020 to October 30, 2020. Anyone interested can send their comments in writing to the legal services and town clerk office at the following email address: isabelle.vezina@ville.gaspe.qc.ca
